Welcome to Dance Class
This is an introduction to Dance, movement, and general body health. Various dance styles will be introduced: “Dancercise”, Tap, Swing, Modern, Ballet, HipHop, Hula, Salsa, Belly Dance, etc.
COURSE OBJECTIVES (what we do):
- Develop a discipline for and basic dance skills to promote a love of dance, its various styles, and a healthy physicality.
- Develop a greater awareness of the dance styles, culture and history.
- Promote a love for human motivation and social interaction through dance both individually and through team work.
- Develop constructive criticism of the performing arts.
