Laurie Fadave

Laurie Fadave has taught English at Analy since 1999. Currently, she teaches English 12 ERWC and AP English Literature. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Medieval Studies, with a minor in Film, and a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from San Francisco State University. She taught in the World and Comparative Literature, History, and Humanities Departments at SFSU from 1976 through 2000, specializing in Celtic literature and history, world mythology, and folklore,. She also taught literature and storytelling classes through the Extended Education and Professional Development Programs at Sonoma State, Cal State Fullerton, and Dominican Universities. Ms. Fadave received her teaching credential from Chapman University. Outside of school, she is an avid Giants fan, loves horses, orcas, and movies – especially the old classics. She enjoys baking, the great outdoors, biking, strolling, hiking and kayaking.
