The Analy Extemp Team, led by senior Ryan Taylor-Davis, emerged triumphant at the Pinole Valley Speech Tournament.  The team meets twice a week to file, highlight and practice reciting current event-based speeches.  Advancing to varsity were sophomore Olivia Mora and freshmen Sean Currie and Alia Williams who took third place out of the 36 entered. Due to a power outage, the extempers had their final round outside in the quad where their judges listened from picnic tables!
