College Planning Night for Parents of Students in Grades 9-11
6:30- 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18th, Analy Auditorium
Joseph Heil, Analy Counselor, will give an orientation to 4-year colleges for parents of students in grades 9-11. Mr. Heil will discuss:
-College options in and out of state
-Subject requirements for college entrance (a-g)
-Grades used for admission
-The role of extra-curricular activities and community service
-Testing requirements
-Timelines for college planning including search, testing and application periods.
-General recommendations for student preparation
