W - 2/10 - Analy 41 Windsor 19
W - 2/8 - Analy 64 El Molino 32
W - 2/5 - Analy ? Healdsburg ?
W - 2/3 - Analy 32 Sonoma 29
L - 2/1 - Analy 44 Casa Grande 46
W - 1/25 - Analy 37 Petaluma 24 recap: The JV Lady Tigers moved to 7-0 in league by defeating Petaluma 37-24. This was the second meeting of the year for the two teams with Analy coming out on top both times. As with the first meeting, the Tigers got out to an early first quarter lead and never lost it, with their defense holding the Trojans to just 24 points. Mikenna Martin led the scoring for Analy with 15 pts. and Haley Bradford chipped in with 8 pts. and 6 rebs. The Tigers got another strong performance off the bench, this time with Hayley Louzao. Although she didn’t score, she led the team in assists with 3, while also grabbing 5 rebounds, and getting two steals.
W - 1/22 - Analy 49 Healdsburg 11 recap: The Tigers kept rolling in league after a dominating performance against visiting Healdsburg winning by a score of 49-11. Analy was in control throughout opening up an early 16-3 lead on their way to the victory. The Tigers got big contributions from some of the usual suspects, Mikenna Martin with 12 pts on 4 of 6 shooting from behind the arc, and Eden Ehrmann who added 10 pts and 7 rebounds. The star of the game however was Mary Hauf who had a breakout performance off the bench scoring 10 pts, with 2 assists, and 4 rebounds.
W - 1/20 - Analy 51 Petaluma 26 recap: On a night where the JV Lady Tigers got scoring from 9 different players, the Tigers pulled off a 51-26 win over visiting Petaluma. The Tigers dominated much of the game outscoring the Trojans 12-5 in the first on their way to holding a 28-13 halftime lead. The second half went just as well for Analy as they held Petaluma to just 13 points in the half. Shelby Buchmann led the way for the Tigers with another double-double (12 pts./11 reb.), while Haley Bradford had another solid game with 10 pts.
W - 1/18 - Analy 38 Windsor 32 recap: In a game that was really dominated by defense, the JV Lady Tigers were able to improve to 4-0 in league, and 13-4 overall by defeating the visiting Windsor Jaguars 38-32. The first quarter was the highest scoring of all with the Tigers taking a 13-10 lead, but then the defenses took over. The Tigers turned up their pressure defense in the 2nd quarter, on their way to a 16 steal performance and never looked back. Haley Bradford led the scoring for Analy with 9, while Mikenna Martin had a solid night posting 6pts/ 3 asst./ 4 stls. Shelby Buchmann continued her strong rebounding pulling down 7, and Hayley Louzao and Jessie Davidson added 4 steals a piece.
L - 1/15 - Analy 32 Eureka 37
W - 1/13 - Analy 46 Sonoma 44 recap: The JV Lady Tigers survived another late scare by edging out Sonoma 46-44. After one quarter the game was tied, but Analy was able to take a 3 pt lead heading into the half. The Tigers extended that lead in the 3rd outscoring the Dragons 19-11, but then came the 4th quarter surge. The Dragons stormed back hitting four 3-pointers in the quarter to eventually tie the game with 9 seconds left. On the ensuing inbound, the Dragons inexplicably fouled Mikenna Martin who sank both her clutch free throws, and when Shelby Buchmann blocked away the final Dragon shot, the Tigers had themselves a win. The Tigers had another balanced attack with Shelby Buchmann netting 10 pts/10 reb, Blaire Louzao with 8 pts/8 reb, Mikenna Martin with 11 pts, and Haley Bradford with another 8 pts.
W - 1/11 - Analy 45 Casa Grande 40 recap: The JV Lady Tigers improved to 2-0 in league, by defeating the visiting Casa Grande Gauchos 45-40. The Tigers took early control of the game holding the Gauchos to just 10 pts. in the first half and getting out to a 12 pt. halftime lead. The Tigers would need every bit of that lead to hold off a 2nd half surge by the Gauchos. After playing an even 3rd quarter, Casa outscored the Tigers 20-13 in the fourth, but it wasn’t enough as the Tigers held on for the win. The Tigers were led by a very balanced offensive attack. (Mikenna Martin-9pts, Blaire Louzao-9 pts/4 reb, Jessie Davidson-8 pts/8 rebs, Eden Ehrmann 8pts/7 reb, and Shelby Buchmann 7 pts/10 reb)
W - 1/4 - Analy 54 El Molino 16
L - 12/22 - Analy 27 Tamalpais 33
W - 12/21 - Analy 35 San Marin 25 recap: Despite shooting just 36% from the field, and 50% from the line, the JV Lady Tigers were able to improve to 9-2 on the year by defeating San Marin 35-25. The game was close early with the Tigers leading by just 2 after the first quarter, but Analy turned up the defense in the second quarter outscoring the visiting Mustangs 12-1 to take a 13 point halftime lead. The pace slowed a little in the second half, but the Tigers were able to keep control of the game in pulling off the 10 point win. Haley Bradford (11 pts, 4 reb, 8 steals), Mikenna Martin (7 pts, 3 rebs, 4 steals), and Jessie Davidson (6pts, 6 rebs, 4 steals) led the way for the Analy.
W - 12/20 - Analy 41 Elsie Allen 7 recap: In a game that saw all but one player score for the home team, the Tigers truly played a team game in defeating visiting Elsie Allen 41-7. The Tigers controlled the game throughout dominating on the offensive boards and on defense. Freshman Jessie Davidson had another good game scoring 8 and grabbing 7 rebounds, while Shelby Buchmann and Haley Bradford each added 6 pts a piece.
L - 12/11 - Analy 27 Maria Carillo 46 – Lady Tigers JV Classic Tournament (final bracket) – Championship game recap: The Analy Tigers ran into the buzzsaw that is the Maria Carillo Pumas and eventually fell 46-27. Despite playing tough for much of the game, the Pumas were able to extend their lead in each of the quarters on their way to the 19 point win. Mikenna Martin led the offense for the Tigers scoring 10, while Shelby Buchmann continued to work on the boards pulling down 5 rebounds in the loss. The Tigers played very well during the tournament in coming away with 2nd place.
W - 12/10 - Analy 50 Casa Grande 40 – Lady Tigers JV Classic Tournament – recap: Freshman Shelby Buchmann led the way with 14 pts, 11 rebs, and 6 steals, as the Tigers continued their run through the tournament defeating league rival Casa Grande 50-40. Buchmann was not a starter in this game, but you wouldn’t know it by how she played. By continuously working on the offensive side, Buchmann was able to extend possessions with numerous offensive rebounds, keeping the Gauchos at bay as they made push after push. Mikenna Martin continued to play well scoring 10, while Haley Bradford added 9.
W - 12/9 - Analy 66 Alameda 52 – Lady Tigers JV Classic Tournament – recap: The JV Lady Tigers continued their strong early season play riding a hot shooting night from Mikenna Martin to up-end the Alameda Hornets 66-52. Martin was 6 of 9 from 3 pt. land on her way to a 23 pt. evening. Martin was not just a scorer though as she also added 6 steals. Haley Bradford had a great scoring night as well, dropping in 21, with 4 reb., 3 ast. and 3 steals, while Hayley Louzao added 10 pts. and 5 steals. The Tigers spent most of the night battling their foul troubles sending the Hornets to line 37 times, but when it mattered most were able to come up with big stops against the bigger Alameda team.
W - 12/7 - Analy 41 Dougherty Valley 39 recap: The JV Lady Tigers improved to 5-1 on the season by beating a very tough Dougherty Valley team 41-39. Although it was at times sloppy on both sides, the Tigers managed to hang on in a game that was not determined until the final seconds. Analy fell behind at the end of one 9-5, but used an 18 pt. 2nd quarter led by Eden Ehrmann and Mikenna Martin who scored 6 and 8 respectively in the quarter to take a 5 pt halftime lead. The Wildcats from Dougherty Valley stormed back in the 3rd outscoring the Tigers by 6 to take a 1 pt lead, but the Tigers defense held tight in the 4th, limiting the Wildcats to just 6 pts and coming away with the 2 pt. win. Blaire Louzao had another strong game chipping in 8 for the Tigers, while Eden Ehrmann finished with 11, and Mikenna Martin with 10.
W - 12/4 - Analy 46 St. Vincent 21 – El Molino Tournament – recap: The JV Lady Tigers bounced back from their first loss by asserting themselves defensively and on the boards. The Tigers turned 13 steals and 22 offensive rebounds into a 46-21 win over St. Vincent in capturing 3rd place at the El Molino Tournament. Analy consistently had control of the game throughout, and got contributions from everyone. Jessie Davidson led the way with 9 pts., 6 rebs., 2 assts, Shelby Buchmann added 6 pts and 9 rebounds, and Blaire Louzao chipped in 6 pts and 5 rebounds. Congratulations as well goes to Eden Ehrmann for being selected All-Tournament.
L - 12/3 - Analy 31 Montgomery 50 – El Molino Tournament – recap: The JV Lady Tigers suffered their first defeat of the year losing to the Montgomery Vikings 50-31. The Tigers fell behind 17-5 in the first and that deficit remained for the course of the game. The Tigers put together a few runs early that looked like they would amount to something, but the Vikings seemingly always had an answer and kept Analy at bay. While Analy struggled to get anything going on offense, Mikenna Martin continued her strong early season performance contributing 8 pts, 6 reb., and 2 steals. Eden Ehrmann and Jesse Davidson had 6 and 5 rebounds respectively, while Nacala Newman and Maria Ragusa each collected 3 steals.
W - 12/2 - Analy 44 Middletown 24 – El Molino Tournament – recap: The JV Lady Tigers continued their strong defensive play in their 44-24 win over Middletown. The Tigers began and finished the game with their best offensive quarters, while holding tight on defense along the way limiting Middletown to just 8 points in the 2nd half. Haley Bradford led the offense with 12 pts, Alyssa Mintz followed with another strong performance putting in 8, and Eden Ehrmann chipped in 7. Jesse Davidson led the way defensively creating 6 turnovers.
W - 11/30 - Analy 43 Novato 28 (Foundation game, not included in record) points: Eden Ehrmann 11, Alyssa Mintz 8
W – 11/23 – Analy 46 Drake 34 recap: The JV Lady Tigers passed their first big test of the year defeating Drake 46-34. After holding the Pirates to just 3 points in the first quarter, the Tigers defense held strong throughout the remainder of the game, while the offense opened things up with a 21 point 3rd quarter. Mikenna Martin led the way with 13 pts, while Eden Ehrmann added 10 despite being in foul trouble much of the game.
W – 11/16 – Analy 62 Piner 12 recap: After jumping out to an early 20-4 first quarter lead, the JV Lady Tigers kept the defensive pressure on, limiting Piner to just 8 points the rest of the way while finishing off a 62-12 win. Mikenna Martin led the way with 14 points, while Haley Bradford put in 13 with 5 assists.
