2012-13 JV Girls Basketball : Overall Record 18 - 7 ; SCL Record 9 - 2

Season wrapup – From the coaches’ corner…

Starting off with a new coaching staff and no returning JV players, we got off to a slow start, a 2-6 record. I told the girls it’s not how a team starts the season, it’s how you finish. Then we went on a roll, we won the El Molino Tournament 3-0, beating both NBL teams we faced – Casa and Windsor. The team finished with a 18-7 record. We went undefeated in the second half of the season, taking second place with a league record 9-2. Our biggest win of the season came when we beat Sonoma @ Sonoma (Sonoma lost 2 games all season). The whole team played with HEART. It was a complete game both offensively and defensively, which made us proud of how we progressed in the season. Congratulations to Tiffany Perpinan & Samantha Harrison for being pulled up to the Varsity for their play-off run.

We totally enjoyed our 1st season.

W - 1/29/13 - Analy 45 Elsie Allen 15 notes:Tiffany Perpinan 8 pts, Rachel Carroll 9 pts to lead the scoring. Julia Sillivan had 9 rebounds & Sarah Brown had 8 rebounds.

Sarah Brown lead the team with 13 pts, 6 steals 7 rebounds. Tiffany Perpinan added 10 pts. Geanean Wrisley had 7 rebounds, 4 steals.
