The JV’s clinched the unofficial SCL Junior Varsity championship with this win at Windsor. The Jaguars fell into a second place tie with El Molino.

W - 2/9 - Analy 56 Petaluma 39 notes: This win gives the freshmen their first unofficial SCL championship in years. It also sets a freshman team record with 19 wins (and a .760 winning percentage, a virtual tie with a previous Tiger team that went 14-4, good for a .778 winning percentage).
W - 2/7 - Analy 51 Windsor 27 notes: Since the last-second one-point loss to Casa Grande the frosh have run off eight straight lopsided wins, including a 67-48 thumping of Casa in Petaluma. The team is now 18-6 on the season, 10-1 in SCL play. A win at Petaluma in the season finale would give the freshmen their first unofficial SCL championship in years. It would also set a freshman team record with 19 wins (and a .760 winning percentage, a virtual tie with a previous Tiger team that went 14-4, good for a .778 winning percentage).

Analy converted only 11 of its 53 field goal attempts, a season-low 21%; the Tigers weren’t much better from the free throw line, hitting only two of eight (Analy did not shoot a free throw until mid-way in the fourth quarter). The Tigers dropped to 5-3 on the season. Analy opens the Cardinal Newman Frosh Tournament on Tuesday, December 27, at 9 am against the San Rafael Bulldogs.
