Analy Band Wagon

The Instrumental Music Program at Analy

The Analy Instrumental Music Program is distinguished within California as having one of the highest ratios of band and orchestra students to total student population.

At the core of our program are the Winter and Spring concerts which are not to be missed! The Analy combined bands traditionally perform the National Anthem in the fall at a San Francisco Giants game. Analy takes pride in hosting the annual Fall Festival where ensembles from the North Bay, and beyond, perform before an audience of university-level music directors who in turn provide valuable clinics to the groups. In the Spring, the combined bands march in Sebastopol's Apple Blossom Parade.

Vance Regan became the Director of the Instrumental Music Program at Analy in 1992. Since that time, the program has expanded from 3 bands to 4 bands plus an orchestra. Student enrollment in band and orchestra increased from 65 to 215 students. Approximately 15% of the Analy student body participates in the instrumental music program. 90% of band and orchestra students enroll in instrumental music classes throughout their four years of high school.

The Analy Honor Band and Jazz Band and more recently, the Orchestra, compete in music festivals annually and consistently achieve top ratings.
