The emphasis in Clothing 1 is on fabric and pattern selection, machine
operation and beginning sewing techniques. Clothing and color selection
for figure types is taught. Serger techniques are introduced during
the second semester. A minimum of two projects are completed per quarter,
plus one hand craft per year.
