Analy Speech and Debate: A First Place and Now Onward to State Championships!

What a year it's been for the Analy Speech and Debate team which captured first place in league for both Parliamentary Debate AND Speech Events for the 2012-13 season! Five of these outstanding students will be representing Analy at the State Championships in Valencia April 18-22: Luke Lindenbusch in parli and impromptu speaking, Alia Williams in parli, Kota Mizutani in parli and impromptu speaking, Grayson Dimick in parli and advocacy, and Mimi Pinna in Lincoln Douglas debate. In addition, they snagged two alternate berths to state in Oratory thanks to Becca Graff and Cameron Keegan. Club 1-4-1 brings Calvin Terrell to Analy

Thank you to Analy Club 1:4:1 students for bringing nationally-recognized Social Justice Speaker Calvin Terrell to our school and community last Thursday. Many students and community members were moved and inspired by his powerful message of living better, being of sober mind, body, and spirit, and dispensing peace and justice. Thank you for all your efforts to share his message with more of us.
